Chevron creates repeated points that make the direction of the floor immediately visible. When looking at room photographs, follow those lines toward windows, doors and focal points. This is a useful way to judge whether the pattern supports the room you have in mind. A close product image shows the surface; a wider photograph shows how the V shapes repeat.

Keep construction and colour separate

This is engineered timber with a real oak veneer. The overall thickness is 15.3mm and the veneer thickness is 3mm. Oak is the timber species; chevron describes the layout. Beige Ash is a colour name in this oak range. Check the individual dimensions and box coverage before comparing quantities with another collection.

These herringbone and chevron floors require direct adhesive fixing (glue-down installation), as specified in their installation guide. Have your installer check the selected boards, subfloor preparation and compatible adhesive system before work starts.

Compare chevron with herringbone

The distinction is in the meeting point of the boards. Chevron makes a continuous V, while herringbone produces a staggered zigzag.
