The board edges slot together, but this is not a click lock. Check the installation guide with your installer before planning the job.

Real timber veneer on a 15mm engineered build keeps the look stable and the welcome warm. Gorgeous with earthy palettes, greenery and natural textures. Order free samples to see the clay tones at home.
This is the board's full height. Use it to plan neat joins with nearby floors and check that doors can still open. For comfort and quieter footsteps, compare the underlay and acoustic rating as well as board thickness.
Plank size
680x125mm
Each plank is 68 cm long and 12.5 cm wide. Longer, wider planks mean fewer joins across the room. Mark these measurements on your floor to picture the layout.
Coverage per box
1.36 m²
This is the floor area that one full box covers. One square metre is a square 1 metre long and 1 metre wide. Allow extra for cuts, then round up to whole boxes. The calculator above does this for you.
Joining system
Tongue & Groove
One edge has a ridge that fits into a groove on the next board. It is not a click lock. Check the installation guide for how these boards must be fixed in place.
Wear layer
3mm
This is the real timber layer on top of the board. Its thickness matters if the floor is ever sanded. Ask a flooring specialist first, because the board design and its condition also matter.
Surface treatment
Brushed UV Lacquer
Brushing brings out the timber's grain. This protective coating is hardened with UV light at the factory. It helps protect against daily wear and makes routine cleaning easier. Follow the care guide when choosing cleaners.
Profile
4-Sided Micro Bevel
Each board has a tiny sloped edge. A 4-sided micro bevel puts this edge on all four sides, making a fine outline around each plank once laid.
This lists what comes in one box, such as the number of boards and the area they cover. Where a weight is shown, it is useful for planning pickup, carrying and storage. Left and right boards, when listed, form a matching pattern.
Tested at 5 stars for footstep noise, a useful option for apartment living. If your body corporate asks for 5 stars, submit this report for approval. It must suit your building and the planned floor and underlay setup.
Slip rating
P3
P3 gives more tested wet grip than P2, useful when comparing floors for kitchens, hallways and living areas. Wipe up spills promptly. Stairs and wet areas still need the right product and installation.
Fire resistance
CHF Value 4.2kW/m2
This shows how the floor performed in a fire test. A higher CHF number means a better result in that test. It does not mean the floor cannot burn. Your builder can check the test report for your project.
Product type
Engineered Oak Flooring
Engineered timber has real wood on top of a layered base. The top layer gives it its timber grain. Check the wear layer and care guide when comparing boards.
Style
Chevron
The angled ends of the boards meet to form repeated V shapes. Plan the direction of the pattern and cutting allowance with your installer.

Chevron engineered timber has that “wow” factor because it’s real timber, not a printed timber-look layer—you get genuine grain, natural colour variation, and the little details (knots, texture, movement) that make a floor feel premium. The chevron pattern adds a clean, architectural look that instantly makes a room feel more “designed” and finished, working just as well in modern homes as it does in classic interiors because it’s timeless. In short: it’s the high-end timber look people want, in a layout that makes the whole space feel more expensive.
Built for modern living
Chevron engineered timber is built for modern living because it’s designed to handle everyday wear without the fuss. The engineered core adds stability, so it’s less likely to react to normal temperature and humidity changes compared to solid timber, and the hardwood wear layer gives you the real-timber surface that can cope with busy homes. It’s also a practical choice when you want a premium look with a more straightforward install, and many engineered timber ranges are suitable for underfloor heating (product-specific), making it a smart fit for contemporary builds and renovations.
Easy Installation
Chevron engineered timber is also easier to install than people expect. Most ranges are designed for direct glue-down, which gives a solid, quiet feel underfoot and helps lock the pattern in place, and many use a tongue-and-groove profile so each piece keys in neatly for a tight, consistent finish. And it’s not just for floors — the same boards can be used as a feature wall, so you can run chevron up a wall behind a bedhead, in an entry, or as a statement panel to match the flooring and tie the whole space together.
