Mistwood is a soft, hazy grey that keeps the herringbone pattern quiet and contemporary, letting the geometry of the layout do the talking. Where it works best. As 100% waterproof luxury vinyl, Mistwood is as happy in a kitchen, laundry or entry as in the living room — places a real-timber herringbone cannot safely go. Grey floors are a designer favourite for resale-friendly, on-trend interiors, and the cool tone is easy to restyle as your palette changes.

Glue-down installation. Mistwood bonds directly to the subfloor, which keeps the herringbone flat, tight and silent. A confident DIYer can lay it on a clean, level subfloor, but the angled pattern is less forgiving than straight planks — set out from the centre, work in sections with a notched trowel, and allow around 10% extra for cuts. For larger areas a pro is worth it.
