An L-moulding (end profile) caps the exposed edge of a floating floor — hiding the cut board and covering the expansion gap in one clean line wherever the floor ends against a vertical surface or drop-off.

How many pieces do I need?
Measure the edges to be capped in metres, divide by 2.4 and round up to whole pieces. Keep one spare length for tricky corner cuts.
Fitting notes
- Bed on flexible construction adhesive — the floor itself must stay free to move
- Mitre external corners at 45° for a wrapped look
