The specifications
The details, before you decide.
- Thickness
- 4.5mm
This is the board's full height. Use it to plan neat joins with nearby floors and check that doors can still open. For comfort and quieter footsteps, compare the underlay and acoustic rating as well as board thickness.
- Plank size
- 1423x229mm
Each plank is 142.3 cm long and 22.9 cm wide. Longer, wider planks mean fewer joins across the room. Mark these measurements on your floor to picture the layout.
- Coverage per box
- 2.61 m²
This is the floor area that one full box covers. One square metre is a square 1 metre long and 1 metre wide. Allow extra for cuts, then round up to whole boxes. The calculator above does this for you.
- Joining system
- Glue Down
The boards are fixed to the floor underneath with flooring glue. A smooth, prepared base and the correct glue matter. Check the installation guide before you start.
- Wear layer
- 4.5
This is the clear top layer that protects the floor's printed design from wear. It is separate from the board's total thickness. Grit and furniture can still leave marks, so use doormats and felt pads.
- Surface treatment
- Polyurethane Coating
This is the protective finish on the floor's surface. It affects how the floor looks and how you care for it. Follow the care guide when choosing cleaners.
- Product type
- 4.5mm Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl uses a printed design and a protective surface to create the floor's look. Check the joining system: it tells you whether this product clicks together or needs glue.
- Style
- Plank
Planks are long boards laid in rows. Think about whether you want those rows to run along or across the room. A sample helps you check the colour and surface at home.

Glue Down 4.5mm Vinyl Flooring
Glue-down planks bond directly to the subfloor for a rock-solid, quiet result that stays put for the long haul — straightforward enough for confident DIYers.
What is 4.5mm Vinyl Flooring
The Blackbutt Allure Vinyl Plank showcases warm, honey-toned timber shades with authentic grain detailing. Designed for maximum durability, this water resistant vinyl flooring is perfect for high-traffic areas, offering a stylish and resilient flooring solution.
A Total Thickness of 4.5mm
Board thickness drives how a floor feels and sounds underfoot — more body means a more solid, quieter step and better forgiveness over minor subfloor imperfections. Up top, a 4.5 wear layer takes the daily knocks so the look stays protected for years.
