About Artifloor

Artifloor is an Australian vinyl flooring brand based in Mansfield, Queensland, with planks manufactured in Korea, one of the world's leading producers of luxury vinyl. The boards are built for the way Australians actually live: a 100% water resistant construction, an antibacterial surface coating, and a durable wear layer made for kitchens, bathrooms and high-traffic commercial spaces. They are also engineered to absorb sound and reduce impact noise between floors.

We stock Artifloor's Timberland and Premium Herringbone ranges in our Brisbane warehouse under our own colour names, with live pricing on every colour and delivery Australia-wide. Scroll down to shop the full range, or call 0431 311 633 and we will help you match a floor to your rooms and budget.

Artifloor timber look vinyl flooring in a modern Australian kitchen

Luxury vinyl plank flooring, done properly

All our vinyl flooring is glue-down, and that is deliberate. A fully bonded luxury vinyl plank sits solid underfoot with no hollow sound, keeps a slim profile where door clearances are tight, and shrugs off heavy furniture and point loads. That is why glue-down LVP remains the standard for commercial vinyl flooring in shops, cafes and offices, and it is just as much at home in a family kitchen.

Artifloor's timber look vinyl planks carry realistic Australian species tones, from Blackbutt and Spotted Gum through to pale coastal oaks, with a 100% water resistant vinyl flooring build that handles kitchens, laundries and bathrooms. If you are weighing up vinyl against click-together boards, our Riverhill hybrid flooring page covers the other side of the fence.

Glue-down vinyl also tends to sit at the value end of luxury vinyl plank flooring in Australia, because the plank itself is doing all the work: no separate underlay, adhesive as the only extra material, and every colour stocked in our own Brisbane warehouse rather than ordered in. Each product page shows the box price alongside the per square metre rate, so budgeting a room or a whole home takes minutes with our flooring calculator.

Glue-down vs click vinyl flooring

Glue-down vinyl planks bond directly to a prepared slab, so the floor feels solid, stays put under heavy fit-outs and keeps the lowest possible profile at doorways and thresholds. Click boards float over an underlay instead, which suits DIY installs over imperfect subfloors. We stock both: Artifloor when the job calls for glue-down luxury vinyl planks, and hybrid flooring when you want a click-lock floating floor.

Where Artifloor vinyl works best

The 100% water resistant build handles kitchens, laundries and bathrooms, while the commercial wear layer keeps cafes, shops, offices, salons and rental properties looking sharp year after year. The slim 2.5 to 4.5mm profile is a favourite in unit renovations where door clearances are tight, and the sound-absorbing construction helps keep noise down between floors.

Made in Korea, chosen for Australia

Artifloor planks are manufactured in Korea, a global leader in luxury vinyl production known for precise printing, deep embossed texture and dimensionally stable boards. Each range is then colour-tuned for Australian interiors, and every box lands in our Brisbane warehouse before it ships to your door.

Choosing between the three Artifloor ranges

Timberland 4.5mm is the range we walk most homeowners to first. The extra body in the plank gives it a quieter, more cushioned feel underfoot, and its 10 colours cover the Australian species and oak tones that dominate new builds and renovations. If you are flooring a whole home and want one floor to run seamlessly from the entry through the kitchen to the bedrooms, the Timberland 4.5mm planks are the safest place to start.

The Timberland 2.5mm planks are the commercial workhorse. Shopfitters and property managers order them again and again because they bond dead flat, handle rolling loads and constant traffic, and keep fit-out budgets honest across bigger floor areas. Premium Herringbone sits at the designer end: the same 4.5mm water resistant build, cut into parquetry blades and laid in the classic zigzag that lifts hallways, living rooms and boutique fit-outs. All three ranges share the same glue-down system, so an installer can mix formats between rooms without changing adhesive or method.

How a glue-down vinyl floor goes in

A glue-down floor is won or lost at the subfloor, which is why good installers spend most of the job below the planks. The slab or sheet flooring is checked for moisture, ground or filled until it is flat, and primed so the adhesive can key in properly. Vinyl is slim enough to telegraph whatever sits underneath it, so that preparation is what separates a showroom finish from a floor that reads every ridge through the surface.

From there the planks are set into a full spread of adhesive, rolled for even contact, and trimmed neatly at walls and door frames. Most of our customers book a professional installer for glue-down vinyl flooring and the finish rewards it, though experienced renovators do tackle smaller rooms themselves. Either way, our team can talk you through subfloor prep, adhesive choice and plank quantities on 0431 311 633 before a single box leaves the warehouse.

Cleaning and caring for vinyl plank floors

Vinyl asks very little of you. A regular sweep or vacuum keeps grit from dulling the wear layer, and a damp mop with a pH neutral cleaner handles the rest. Skip steam mops, wax polishes and abrasive scourers, sit felt pads under furniture legs, and keep a mat at external doors. Do that and an Artifloor floor holds its colour and texture through years of kitchens, kids and pets.

The rental and investment property favourite

Ask a property manager what floor belongs in a rental and glue-down vinyl is usually the answer. It is quick to install between tenants, comfortable and quiet to live on, and unfazed by the knocks that write off carpet. Because each plank is bonded individually, damage stays local: one gouged board means swapping planks, not re-laying the room, so keep a spare box from your order.

Colours drawn from Australian timbers

The 24 colours on this page follow the timbers Australians actually build with. There are true local species tones like Blackbutt and Spotted Gum, pale coastal and Hamptons oaks for lighter interiors, and deeper walnut and smoked tones for moodier palettes. Deep embossing gives each plank a grain texture you can feel, so the floor reads as timber at eye level and underfoot.

Specified for shops, cafes and offices

Glue-down luxury vinyl planks are the default floor of Australian retail and hospitality for good reason: they cope with rolling racks, chair scrapes and all-day foot traffic while staying easy to clean overnight. The antibacterial surface coating suits salons and treatment rooms, and the slim profile transitions cleanly to tiles and carpet in mixed fit-outs. For commercial quantities, call us about a trade order.

Artifloor FAQs

Who is Artifloor?

Artifloor is an Australian flooring brand headquartered in Mansfield, Queensland, with planks manufactured in Korea and supplied through retailers and trade partners. Hybrid Floors Australia stocks their glue-down luxury vinyl ranges, sold under our own colour names with local Brisbane dispatch.

Is Artifloor vinyl flooring water resistant?

Yes. Artifloor planks have a 100% water resistant construction, which makes them a strong pick for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. As with any floor, correct subfloor preparation and adhesive matter, and our team can talk you through both before you order.

What is glue-down vinyl plank flooring?

Glue-down vinyl planks are adhered directly to a prepared subfloor rather than clicked together as a floating floor. The result is a thinner, quieter, more stable floor that is the commercial standard, and it is why we sell all vinyl as glue-down. If you want a click-lock floating floor instead, look at hybrid flooring.

Can I use Artifloor vinyl in commercial spaces?

Yes. The Timberland 2.5mm range is a commercial-grade workhorse, and Timberland 4.5mm adds extra thickness and quiet for premium fit-outs. Both are used across shops, offices, salons and rental properties.

How do I buy Artifloor vinyl flooring?

Every colour is listed on this page with live pricing. Add the boxes you need to your cart and we dispatch from our Brisbane warehouse, with delivery Australia-wide or local pick up from Albion. For help with quantities, adhesive or a trade order, call 0431 311 633.

Can Artifloor vinyl be laid over my existing floor?

Often, yes. Glue-down vinyl can go over most hard, flat, well-bonded surfaces once they are properly prepared, including concrete slabs and many existing tiled floors where grout lines are filled and levelled. It cannot go over carpet or loose floating floors. Every job is different, so call 0431 311 633 and we will tell you what preparation your subfloor needs.

How many boxes of vinyl planks should I order?

Measure each room's length by width in metres to get the area, add the areas together, then allow roughly 5 to 10% extra for cutting waste, more for herringbone patterns and rooms with lots of angles. Divide by the square metres per box shown on each product page and round up. Our flooring calculator does the maths for you, and keeping a spare box tucked away makes any future plank repair seamless.

Is glue-down vinyl suitable for apartments and units?

Very. The slim 2.5 to 4.5mm profile keeps door and appliance clearances where a thicker floating floor would not, and the sound-absorbing construction helps with noise between levels. If your body corporate has acoustic requirements, talk to us and we will point you to the right option for the approval process.

How do vinyl planks compare with hybrid flooring?

They are close cousins. Both are 100% water resistant and timber-look, but vinyl planks are glued down for the thinnest, quietest, most commercial-proof result, while hybrid flooring clicks together over underlay as a DIY-friendly floating floor. We stock Artifloor for the first job and Riverhill for the second, so you can compare both under one roof.
